Coming off a hard-fought 4-3 loss to Cal United Strikers FC, Bay Cities FC hosts ALBION San Diego Saturday night, April 30 at 7 pm. Like Bay Cities, ALBION is competing in its inaugural season in NISA and currently sits one spot above Bay Cities at third in the West Division table.

“Albion is a physical group from what we have seen,” said Bay Cities manager Anders Perez. “We know they will look to impose their physicality on us. We need to be ready to circulate the ball and attack the space in behind. We have to play our style. We have to try to control the game with possession and be ready to stop their counterattacks. I know we can do it.”

‍Bay Cities F.C. so far
‍Josiah Romero will return to the team after serving a one-game suspension for a red card against Valley United FC. Forward Anthony Orendain leads the team with two goals. Orendain is coming off a brace against Cal United Strikers FC.Bay Cities FC reached the third round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup defeating USL Championship side Monterey Bay FC before losing to the San Jose Earthquakes. Bay Cities roster currently features 24 players, 20 of whom either grew up or played youth or college soccer in the Bay area.
